The Bertucci M-2Ra is a robust and practical women's field watch, designed for everyday adventures and active lifestyles. Its lightweight yet durable construction makes it an ideal companion for those who value functionality and comfort in a timepiece. This model combines classic field watch aesthetics with modern materials, appealing to women seeking a reliable and understated accessory.

At its core, the M-2Ra features a precise Japanese quartz movement, ensuring accurate timekeeping with minimal maintenance. The 35mm polycarbonate case offers excellent shock resistance and a comfortable fit on smaller wrists, complemented by a resilient mineral glass crystal that protects the sand-coloured dial. With a water resistance of 50 metres, it is suitable for splashes and brief immersion.

The watch comes equipped with a comfortable and easily replaceable nylon strap, enhancing its utilitarian appeal. Its matte black finish on the case and the clear, legible sand dial with glow-in-the-dark features ensure readability in various conditions. This Bertucci field watch is a straightforward, dependable choice for active women.

The Bertucci M-2Ra presents itself as a straightforward and dependable choice for women seeking a rugged yet understated timepiece. This model, with its clear field watch lineage, prioritises legibility and resilience, making it well-suited for daily wear and outdoor activities. Its design ethos focuses on practical utility rather than elaborate complications, appealing to a demographic that values function over excessive flair.

Technically, the M-2Ra is built around a reliable Japanese quartz movement, ensuring consistent accuracy without the need for winding. The 35mm polycarbonate case is a key feature, offering exceptional lightness and impact resistance, which is further complemented by a protective mineral glass crystal. While its 50-metre water resistance is adequate for splashes and brief immersion, it's not designed for serious swimming or diving, aligning with its field watch designation.

One area where the M-2Ra might not satisfy all users is its relatively modest water resistance for an outdoor-oriented watch. While 50m is fine for rain or hand-washing, those planning more rigorous water sports or frequent swimming might find it limiting, necessitating a more specialised dive or sport watch. The fixed lug design, while contributing to durability, also restricts strap options to Bertucci's proprietary bands.

Ultimately, the Bertucci M-2Ra is an excellent option for women who need a no-nonsense, durable, and comfortable watch for everyday adventures. Its robust construction and clear dial make it a reliable companion for casual wear, hiking, or light outdoor pursuits. For those requiring deeper water capabilities or a wider range of strap customisation, exploring models with higher WR ratings or standard lug widths would be advisable.
