Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.
Last updated: 2026-06-09
Who we are
BraveryWatch operates braverywatch.com, an editorial site that compares watches sold on Amazon and earns a commission when readers buy via our affiliate links. The site is owned and operated by Bravery Technology. You can reach us at [email protected].
What we collect
Account data. When you create an account we store your email address and a one-time login code. We do not store passwords.
Usage data. We log requests our servers receive (URL, timestamp, IP address) to investigate abuse and to keep the service reliable. IP addresses are truncated within 30 days.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate traffic. The data we receive is pseudonymous; we do not link it back to your account.
Chat history. If you use our AI assistant, your messages are stored alongside the session so we can improve the product. We do not feed your messages into model training.
Why we collect it
We collect the minimum we need to operate the site, respond when you contact us, prevent fraud, and comply with the affiliate programs we participate in. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising profiles outside this site.
Who we share it with
Cloudflare, our CDN and DDoS protection provider, sees every request as it transits the edge.
Google (Analytics 4) processes pseudonymous usage events.
Resend sends the transactional emails you receive from us (login codes, account notifications).
Google Cloud (Vertex AI) powers the AI assistant. Your prompts are sent to Google for inference and are not used for model training under our enterprise terms.
Amazon receives the click data when you follow an affiliate link, so the purchase can be attributed to us.
Your rights
If you are in California, the CCPA gives you the right to know what personal data we hold about you, to request deletion, and to opt out of sale. We do not sell personal data. To exercise these rights, email [email protected] from the address on your account. We will respond within 30 days.
How long we keep data
Account data is kept while your account is active and for 30 days after you request deletion. Chat history is kept for 90 days unless you delete it sooner. Aggregated analytics are kept indefinitely but cannot be tied to you personally.
Children
BraveryWatch is not directed at children under 13, and account creation requires you to be at least 16. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We update this page when material changes happen, and we always bump the "last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the new version.
