The watch features a robust 36mm stainless steel case with a rose gold IP coating, providing both resilience and a fashionable appeal. A scratch-resistant mineral glass protects the easy-to-read pink dial, while 50 metres of water resistance ensures it can withstand splashes and brief immersion.

The high-quality stainless steel bracelet, also in rose gold IP with a partially matte finish, is secured by a practical folding clasp, offering a secure and comfortable fit for smaller wrists. This timepiece is not just a functional item but a statement piece, encouraging kids to express their style. Technically, the LT-0294-MQ relies on a dependable quartz movement, ensuring precise and maintenance-free operation, which is ideal for a child's first watch. Its 36mm stainless steel case is finished with a striking rose gold IP coating, offering a blend of robustness and style. The dial is protected by a mineral glass, providing adequate scratch resistance for daily wear, and the watch boasts 50 metres of water resistance, making it suitable for splashes and handwashing.

While the mineral glass offers good protection, it is inherently less scratch-resistant than sapphire, a common trade-off in this price segment. For children who are particularly rough on their belongings, this might mean more visible wear over time compared to watches with sapphire crystals. The 50m water resistance is practical for everyday activities but not sufficient for swimming or diving, which is an important distinction for active kids.

This Liebeskind model is an excellent choice for parents seeking a stylish yet durable first watch for their child, particularly those who appreciate a fashionable accessory. Its rose gold aesthetic and reliable quartz mechanism make it stand out. For those requiring higher water resistance or superior scratch protection, exploring dedicated sports watches with sapphire glass might be a suitable alternative, though likely at a higher price point.
