Description
The OUPINKE Skeleton Tourbillon is a gold-toned automatic watch for men who like an open-worked dial and a dressy look. It pairs a round 40mm case with a tungsten bracelet and a gold skeleton face.
Inside, a 21-jewel automatic movement can be wound by hand or by wrist motion, so no battery is needed. The case is stainless steel, the crystal is sapphire, and water resistance is rated at 50 metres, which covers splashes and light daily exposure.
The standout feature is the self-rotating tourbillon on the dial, shown alongside a calendar date display. The tungsten bracelet is 24cm long overall, closes with a double locking foldover clasp, and can be adjusted to the wrist with the supplied tool.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I wear this OUPINKE skeleton watch in the shower?
Showering is not advisable. The OUPINKE Skeleton Tourbillon is rated to 50 metres, which generally covers splashes and hand washing. Hot steam and water pressure can still stress the seals over time, so keep it dry during showers and swimming.
Is it sturdy enough for daily wear at the office?
For office use it is a reasonable fit. The sapphire crystal resists scratches and the stainless steel case is hardy. The tungsten bracelet is heavy, so most people find it better suited to dressy days than long active ones.
Does it need a battery?
No. This OUPINKE runs on a 21-jewel automatic movement that winds itself with wrist motion and can also be wound by hand. If it sits unworn for a while, a few turns of the crown will get it running again.
How does it differ from a standard three-hand automatic?
A normal three-hand automatic has a closed dial. This model shows a skeleton dial with a self-rotating tourbillon and a calendar date, so the visual interest is higher. The trade-off is a busier dial that can be harder to read at a glance.
Will it fit a smaller wrist?
The case is 40mm across with a 20mm lug width, which suits most average wrists. The tungsten bracelet is 24cm overall and adjustable with the supplied tool. The bracelet is heavy, so very slim wrists may find it bulky.
Who is this watch suitable for?
It suits men who want a showy gold mechanical watch for dress occasions or as a gift. It is a poor match for swimmers or anyone needing a rugged sports watch, and the service interval of any mechanical movement still applies.
Editor's take
Oupinke's gold skeleton tourbillon is aimed at buyers who want the look of a complicated, open-dial watch without the price of a haute horlogerie piece. It is an automatic model with a round 40mm case and a gold-on-gold colour scheme that is deliberately showy.
The movement is a 21-jewel automatic mechanical unit that can be wound by hand or by wrist motion, and the dial carries a self-rotating tourbillon plus a calendar date. Protection comes from a sapphire crystal over a stainless steel case, which is a sensible pairing for scratch resistance.
The main limit is water resistance. At 50 metres the watch handles splashes and hand washing, but it is not meant for swimming or showering. The tungsten bracelet is dense and hard-wearing, though at 24cm overall and a listed weight of about 0.5 kg with packaging it will feel heavy for slim wrists.
It suits someone who enjoys a mechanical display piece for dress occasions and does not need a tool watch. For a more restrained, serviceable alternative in a similar bracket, a Japanese or Chinese-made automatic with a plain dial and a standard calibre is worth a look. The double locking foldover clasp keeps the bracelet secure.

OUPINKE Men's Watch
OUPINKE adheres to the concept of combining modern design with fashion. We have a team of watchmakers with exquisite craftsmanship and excellent technology. With their professional skills and enthusiasm for the watch industry, they design watches with high quality for you.
Swiss Automatic Movement
A Swiss automatic calibre powers the HZ-P-G3186GH-HH, winding itself from the motion of your wrist. There is no battery to replace, and the rotor keeps the mainspring charged through ordinary daily wear.
Precision Finishing Process
OUPINKE relies on strong design and development strength, after 5 structural cuttings, 7 manual fine polishing, 0.03 high-precision laser engraving, and 193 precision craftsmanship, you can have a high-quality automatic mechanical watch that surpasses the product itself.
40mm Stainless Steel Case
The 40.0mm stainless steel case sits in the classic range for a dress-capable automatic. It suits most wrists without dominating a shirt cuff, and steel holds up well to daily knocks and contact.
Calendar and time adjustments
Set the calendar and time using the crown, pulling it to the correct position before turning. Avoid changing the date while the movement is near midnight, since the date mechanism is engaged during those hours and can be stressed.
Sapphire Crystal Protection
The sapphire crystal ranks 9 on the Mohs scale, which makes it highly resistant to scratches from keys, desk edges and everyday abrasion. It keeps the dial clear and legible over years of wear.
Tungsten Strap and 50m Rating
The tungsten strap has a dense, cool weight and resists scuffing better than plain steel. With 50m water resistance, the watch handles splashes and hand washing, but it is not intended for swimming or diving.
