What type of glass does this watch use, and how durable is it?
The Invicta Racing 69650 features acrylic glass. Acrylic is known for its shatter resistance, making it quite durable against impacts. However, it is more prone to scratches compared to sapphire, so some care is needed to maintain its clear appearance.
What is the recommended wrist size for the Invicta Racing 69650?

How does the digital display of this Invicta model compare to analog watches?
The Invicta Racing 69650 features a clear digital display for precise time reading at a glance, which can be advantageous for quick information access during sports. While analog watches offer a traditional aesthetic, this digital model provides modern functionality and a distinct visual style.

Editor's take
The Invicta Racing MG53 69650 emerges as a bold statement piece within the brand's extensive lineup, targeting enthusiasts who favor oversized, visually impactful timepieces. Positioned within the Racing collection, it embodies a sporty yet luxurious aesthetic, designed for men who want their watch to stand out. Its release in 2026 suggests a contemporary design approach, blending modern digital functionality with classic watch elements like a prominent dial.
Technically, this Invicta model relies on a dependable quartz movement, ensuring precise timekeeping without the need for manual winding or constant wear. The substantial 43.5mm round case, paired with an acrylic glass, offers a robust build suitable for daily wear, though acrylic is more prone to scratches than sapphire. The choice of a silicone strap further emphasizes its sporty, comfortable, and durable nature, ideal for an active lifestyle.
One notable aspect is the use of acrylic glass, which, while shatter-resistant, may require more care to maintain its pristine appearance compared to more scratch-resistant materials like sapphire. This trade-off is often seen in watches prioritizing impact resistance and affordability. Furthermore, without explicit water resistance ratings, its suitability for extensive water activities remains ambiguous, suggesting it's best suited for casual splashes rather than swimming or diving.
Ultimately, the Invicta Racing MG53 69650 is recommended for individuals who prioritize a distinctive, large-format digital watch with reliable quartz accuracy and a comfortable, sporty feel. It's an excellent choice for those seeking a fashion-forward timepiece that makes a statement, rather than a subtle, understated accessory. For those desiring higher-end materials or specific water-sport capabilities, exploring other Invicta collections or brands might be advisable.
