At its core, this Speedway model features a precise quartz movement, ensuring accurate timekeeping with minimal maintenance. The 42mm stainless steel case houses a striking silver dial, protected by Invicta's proprietary Flame Fusion crystal, which provides enhanced scratch resistance. With a 30-meter water resistance, it handles splashes but is not intended for swimming.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Invicta Speedway 46832 suitable for swimming or showering?
No, the Invicta Speedway 46832 has a water resistance of 30 meters, which means it is designed to withstand splashes and brief immersion. It is not recommended for swimming, showering, or any prolonged water activities to prevent damage to the watch.
What type of movement does this Invicta Speedway watch use?
The Invicta Speedway 46832 utilizes a reliable quartz movement. This type of movement is known for its accuracy and requires minimal maintenance, primarily needing a battery replacement every few years.
What is Flame Fusion crystal and how durable is it?
Flame Fusion crystal is Invicta's proprietary blend of mineral and sapphire crystals. It offers enhanced scratch resistance compared to standard mineral glass, providing good durability for daily wear while maintaining clear visibility of the silver dial.
Is the Invicta Speedway 46832 suitable for daily sport activities?
While the Invicta Speedway 46832 has a sporty aesthetic and is robust, its 30-meter water resistance limits its suitability for intense daily sport activities involving water. It is more suited for light activities and everyday use where water exposure is minimal.
What wrist size is suitable for the 42mm Invicta Speedway?
The 42mm case size of the Invicta Speedway 46832 is generally well-suited for a wide range of men's wrist sizes, typically from 6.5 to 8 inches (approximately 16.5 to 20 cm). The stainless steel band can be adjusted by removing links for a comfortable fit.
How does the Invicta Speedway 46832 compare to other watches in its price range?
The Invicta Speedway 46832 stands out with its bold design, 42mm stainless steel case, and Flame Fusion crystal, offering a distinctive look. While many watches in this price range might offer similar quartz reliability, Invicta focuses on a more pronounced aesthetic and proprietary crystal technology.
Editor's take
The Invicta Speedway 46832 positions itself as an accessible and visually striking timepiece for men seeking a sporty aesthetic without a premium price tag. This model from the Speedway collection embodies Invicta's philosophy of bold design and robust construction, making it a popular choice for everyday wear.
Underneath its assertive exterior, the watch relies on a dependable quartz movement for precise timekeeping, a practical choice for those prioritizing accuracy and low maintenance. Its substantial 42mm stainless steel case offers a noticeable presence on the wrist, complemented by a silver dial and protected by Invicta's proprietary Flame Fusion crystal, which provides a good balance of clarity and scratch resistance.
However, the 30-meter water resistance is a notable limitation for a watch with a sporty designation. While it can withstand splashes and brief immersion, it is not suitable for swimming, showering, or any serious water activities, which might be a consideration for active individuals.
Ultimately, the Invicta Speedway 46832 is best suited for individuals who value a distinctive, robust-looking watch for daily wear and casual outings, where its aesthetic appeal and reliable quartz engine can shine. For those requiring genuine water sports capability, exploring dedicated dive watches would be a more appropriate alternative.
