At its core, the Elliot 14400040 is powered by a precise quartz movement, ensuring accurate timekeeping with minimal maintenance. It features a durable 26mm stainless steel case paired with a black leather strap, offering comfort and style. The watch is protected by a mineral glass crystal and provides a water resistance of 30 metres, suitable for daily splashes.

The silver-white sunray dial, adorned with simple stick markers and the iconic Coach Signature at 3 o’clock, offers excellent legibility and a refined appearance. Its understated elegance makes it a versatile choice for the modern man.

The Coach Elliot 14400040 represents a foray into classic watch design, offering a refined tank case silhouette that appeals to those seeking understated elegance. Powering this elegant watch is a reliable quartz movement, a choice that prioritises accuracy and low maintenance, making it an ideal daily companion. Encased in a 26mm stainless steel body, the watch features a crisp silver-white sunray dial protected by a durable mineral glass. Its 30-metre water resistance ensures it can handle everyday splashes and brief immersion, aligning with its practical design.

While the Elliot 14400040 excels in classic styling and quartz precision, its relatively modest water resistance means it is not suited for swimming or showering. Furthermore, the use of mineral glass, while robust, does not offer the same scratch resistance as sapphire, which might be a consideration for those with more demanding lifestyles. This watch is designed for aesthetic appeal rather than rugged utility.

Ultimately, the Coach Elliot 14400040 is best suited for individuals who value a classic, sophisticated look and the convenience of a quartz timepiece. It serves as an excellent entry point into the world of dress watches, offering a distinctive design at an approachable price point. For those prioritising extreme durability or advanced horological features, exploring sportier quartz chronographs or entry-level automatic dress watches might be a more suitable alternative.
