Description
The Daniel Wellington Quadro introduces a distinct rectangular form to the brand's catalogue. Measuring a petite 20mm across, the polished gold-tone case provides a clean, architectural frame. This compact sizing ensures a comfortable and proportional fit on a wide range of wrists, functioning as a piece of jewellery as much as a timepiece.
At the centre is a dial with a deep green sunray finish. This surface treatment allows the dial to catch and reflect light, creating dynamic shifts in its appearance. The simple two-hand display, powered by a dependable Japanese quartz movement, maintains a minimalist and highly legible aesthetic, free of any extraneous text or markers.
The watch is secured by a stainless steel bracelet, finished in a matching gold tone. Its links are designed to articulate smoothly, conforming to the wrist for all-day wear. The integration between the bracelet and the squared-off lugs of the case creates a cohesive and uninterrupted visual line from end to end.

Editor's take
The Daniel Wellington Quadro collection targets a wearer valuing modern design over complex horology. This reference, the DW00100561, exemplifies the line's appeal with a distinct colour and form that works as a daily accessory. It is an unambiguous fashion watch that executes its role with confidence.
The watch's main strength is its visual coherence. The sharp lines of the 20mm case are a departure from the brand's round models. This quality is enhanced by the sunray green dial, which provides a rich focal point. The case and bracelet are Stainless Steel with a gold-tone PVD coating, completing the jewellery-like presentation.
Buyers should note the specifications align with its purpose. The dial uses a Mineral Crystal, which is less scratch-resistant than sapphire. Its 30-meter water resistance is for incidental splashes, not submersion. The Japanese quartz movement prioritises accuracy and low maintenance over mechanical intricacy.
For an individual seeking a grab-and-go accessory that delivers a popular look from a known brand, this model is a solid choice. Watch enthusiasts or those needing a rugged timepiece should look elsewhere. For its intended audience, the Quadro delivers a sharp, contemporary design object.
