The Orient RA-TX0202B10B positions itself as an accessible yet robust solar quartz chronograph dive watch, catering to men who seek both functionality and a sporty aesthetic. It's a compelling option for those desiring a reliable timepiece for everyday wear and recreational water activities, without the maintenance demands of a mechanical movement.
Central to its appeal is the Orient VS752 Solar Quartz Chronograph Movement, offering precise timekeeping and a practical stopwatch function. Encased in a durable 42.8mm stainless steel case and protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, this watch boasts a substantial 200m water resistance, making it well-suited for skin diving and swimming.
While its 200m water resistance is impressive, the manufacturer notes it's "Appropriate for Skin-Diving Only," implying it may not meet the full ISO 6425 standards for professional saturation diving. Ultimately, the RA-TX0202B10B is an excellent choice for individuals seeking a stylish and low-maintenance dive-style watch with chronograph capabilities. For those requiring an ISO-certified tool watch for professional diving, alternatives with dedicated dive bezels and no pushers might be considered.
