Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Armani Exchange Drexler AX2600 suitable for daily wear and sports?
Yes, the Armani Exchange Drexler AX2600 is designed for daily wear, offering a stylish and functional accessory. Its 30-meter water resistance means it can withstand splashes and brief immersion, making it suitable for light activities. However, it is not recommended for swimming or high-impact sports where prolonged water exposure is expected.
What is the water resistance of this Drexler watch, and can I swim with it?
The Armani Exchange Drexler AX2600 has a water resistance rating of 30 meters (3 ATM). This means it is protected against splashes and brief immersion in water, such as washing hands or light rain. It is not suitable for swimming, showering, or diving, as these activities can compromise its seals and internal components.
How does the AX2600 compare to other chronographs in its price range?
The Armani Exchange Drexler AX2600 stands out with its bold, fashion-forward design and reliable quartz chronograph movement. While many chronographs in this range offer similar functionality, the AX2600 emphasizes a distinctive aesthetic with its black dial and stainless steel build. It's a strong alternative for those prioritizing style and brand appeal over advanced horological features.
What type of glass does the Armani Exchange Drexler AX2600 use?
The Armani Exchange Drexler AX2600 features a durable mineral crystal. This type of glass offers good scratch resistance for everyday use and is more shatter-resistant than sapphire. It provides clear visibility of the black dial and chronograph functions, ensuring the watch remains legible and protected.

Editor's take
The Armani Exchange Drexler AX2600 positions itself as a contemporary and accessible chronograph for the style-conscious individual. This timepiece, part of the Drexler collection, is designed for men who appreciate a bold aesthetic without compromising on everyday functionality. Its striking black dial and robust build make it a versatile choice for various occasions, from casual outings to more polished events.
At its core, the Drexler AX2600 is powered by a reliable quartz movement, ensuring precise timekeeping with minimal maintenance. The watch features a substantial 44mm stainless steel case that provides a noticeable presence on the wrist, complemented by a matching bracelet. The dial is protected by a durable mineral crystal, offering good resistance against everyday scratches, while the chronograph function adds a practical element for timing events.
One aspect to consider is its water resistance, rated at 30 meters (3 ATM). While this is sufficient for splashes and light rain, it is not designed for swimming or showering. Those seeking a watch for more rigorous water activities would need to explore alternatives with higher water resistance ratings and perhaps an ISO certification for diving.
Ultimately, the Armani Exchange Drexler AX2600 is an excellent choice for men looking for a fashionable chronograph that blends modern design with dependable performance. It's ideal for individuals who prioritize style and a bold wrist presence, offering a compelling option within the fashion watch segment. For those needing greater water protection or a mechanical movement, other categories might be more suitable.
