Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Bertucci 18000 M-1S suitable for swimming or showering?
Yes, the Bertucci 18000 M-1S offers 100 meters of water resistance, making it suitable for swimming, snorkeling, and showering. However, it is not recommended for deep-sea diving, and you should avoid operating the crown while submerged to maintain its water resistant integrity.
What type of movement does this Bertucci field watch use?
The Bertucci 18000 M-1S is powered by a reliable Japanese quartz movement. This ensures accurate timekeeping and requires minimal maintenance, primarily just a battery replacement every few years, making it ideal for daily use.
How does the 18000 M-1S compare to other women's field watches in its price range?
The Bertucci 18000 M-1S stands out with its patented durable stainless steel case and robust nylon strap, offering exceptional toughness for its price. While other watches might offer different aesthetics, this model prioritizes rugged functionality and a classic field watch design, making it a strong alternative for those seeking durability.
Is the mineral glass on the Bertucci 18000 M-1S truly scratch resistant?
The Bertucci 18000 M-1S features a hardened mineral glass crystal, which provides good scratch resistance against everyday bumps and scrapes. While it's more resistant than standard glass, it's not as impervious to scratches as sapphire crystal, so care should still be taken during very harsh activities.

This Bertucci 18000 M-1S is designed for women who need a durable, reliable, and straightforward watch for daily wear and outdoor activities. Its compact 30mm case size and comfortable nylon strap make it suitable for a wide range of wrist sizes and active lifestyles.
Can I easily replace the nylon strap on my Bertucci 18000 M-1S?

Editor's take
The Bertucci 18000 M-1S positions itself as a straightforward and highly durable field watch specifically designed for women. With its modest 30mm stainless steel case and classic aesthetic, it caters to those seeking a reliable, no-fuss timepiece that can withstand daily wear and tear without compromising on style. This model embodies the brand's commitment to rugged functionality in a more compact form factor.
At its core, the watch is powered by a dependable Japanese quartz movement, ensuring precise timekeeping and minimal maintenance, a key advantage for an everyday utility watch. Its construction features a hardened mineral glass crystal for enhanced scratch resistance and a robust screw-down crown and case back, contributing to a solid 100-meter water resistance rating, making it suitable for various outdoor activities.
While the mineral glass offers good protection against scratches and impacts, it is worth noting that it does not provide the same level of scratch immunity as sapphire crystal, which is often found in higher-end field watches. This might be a consideration for users who anticipate extremely harsh environments or prefer the ultimate in scratch resistance.
Ultimately, the Bertucci 18000 M-1S is an excellent choice for women who appreciate a minimalist, tough, and accurate watch for their active lifestyles. It serves as a practical alternative to more delicate fashion watches or complex smartwatches, offering a blend of classic field watch utility and everyday wearability.
