How does the Invicta Pro Diver 26973 compare to other dive watches in its price range?
The Invicta Pro Diver 26973 stands out with its classic dive watch aesthetic, Flame Fusion crystal, and 200m water resistance at an accessible price point. While some alternatives might offer sapphire crystal or mechanical movements, this model provides solid quartz reliability and a robust build for its cost.
What is the lug width of the Invicta Pro Diver 26973, and can I change the strap?
The Invicta Pro Diver 26973 has a lug width of 20mm, which is a common size. While it comes with a steel and gold tone stainless steel bracelet, you can typically replace it with other 20mm straps or bands if you prefer a different style or material.

Editor's take
The Invicta Pro Diver 26973 positions itself as an accessible and robust dive-inspired timepiece for the everyday enthusiast. It caters to individuals seeking the aesthetic and functionality of a classic diver without the premium price tag often associated with mechanical movements. This model, part of the popular Pro Diver collection, offers a blend of style and practicality.
Underneath its classic exterior, the watch is powered by a reliable Japanese quartz movement, specifically the PC32 Caliber. This ensures precise timekeeping and low maintenance, making it a practical choice for daily wear. The 40mm stainless steel case is complemented by a durable Flame Fusion crystal, offering good protection against impacts and scratches. Its 200-meter water resistance rating means it's genuinely capable for swimming, snorkeling, and recreational diving.
One potential consideration for purists might be the quartz movement, as some dive watch enthusiasts prefer the traditional sweep of a mechanical movement. Additionally, while the Flame Fusion crystal offers good durability, it is not as scratch-resistant as sapphire, which is often found in higher-end dive watches. The steel and gold tone bracelet, while visually striking, may not appeal to all tastes.
Overall, the Invicta Pro Diver 26973 is an excellent choice for those seeking a budget-friendly, reliable, and stylish dive watch. It's particularly well-suited for individuals who value accuracy and durability for daily use and occasional water activities. For those prioritizing a mechanical movement or a sapphire crystal, alternatives in a higher price bracket might be worth exploring.
