Editor's take
Invicta's Angel collection, represented by the Invicta Angel 31068, offers an accessible entry point for women seeking a blend of classic design and reliable functionality. This model, released in 2019, targets those who appreciate a versatile timepiece suitable for both casual and more formal settings, without compromising on durability. Its design ethos focuses on everyday elegance.
At its core, the Angel 31068 is powered by a precise quartz movement, ensuring accurate timekeeping with minimal maintenance. The robust 38mm stainless steel case is complemented by a Flame Fusion crystal, offering enhanced scratch resistance compared to standard mineral glass. With a water resistance rating of 100 meters, it is well-suited for splashes and recreational swimming.
While the 100-meter water resistance is sufficient for most daily activities, it's important to note that this rating, combined with a push/pull crown, means the watch is not designed for serious diving or prolonged submersion. Enthusiasts seeking a true dive watch with ISO certification would need to consider alternatives. The simple foldover clasp, while functional, lacks the micro-adjustments found on higher-end bracelets.
The Invicta Angel 31068 is an excellent choice for women desiring a dependable and stylish watch for daily wear and light water activities. Its classic aesthetic and stainless steel bracelet make it a versatile accessory. For those prioritizing advanced features like chronographs or automatic movements, exploring other collections or brands within a similar price bracket might be more appropriate.
