Description
The Nine West crystal accented bracelet watch is a dressy women's piece built around a light champagne dial and a gold-tone link bracelet. It suits anyone who wants an elegant everyday watch with a little sparkle, without the weight of a large case.
A Japanese quartz movement drives the gold-tone hands inside a 36mm metal case. The domed mineral crystal protects the dial, and crystal accented markers add subtle shine at each hour position. The bracelet is adjustable and has a 7 inch inner circumference.
The fold-over clasp with double push-button safety keeps the bracelet secure on the wrist. The watch is splash resistant, so it handles light daily exposure, and its 8mm case thickness keeps it slim under a cuff for office or evening wear.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I wear this Nine West watch in the shower or pool?
It is only splash resistant, so keep it away from showers, pools and the sea. Light rain or hand washing is generally fine for the Nine West NW/2098CHGB, but steam and soaking can damage the seals. Take it off for any water activity.
Will it fit a small wrist?
The bracelet has a 7 inch inner circumference and is adjustable, so removing a link or two usually suits smaller wrists. The 36mm case with 14mm lugs is a mid-size shape that sits comfortably on most women's wrists, and it is only 8mm thick.
Is it suitable for daily office wear?
Yes for most days. The slim 8mm case slides under a cuff, and the champagne dial with crystal markers looks smart with work clothes. The mineral crystal can scratch, so avoid knocking it against desks and door frames during a busy daily routine.
How does it compare with a sapphire crystal quartz watch?
This model uses mineral crystal, which scratches more easily than sapphire, and it offers only splash resistance. Steel-cased quartz watches with sapphire cost more but resist scratches far better. This one is the alternative if you value a gold-tone, sparkly look at a lower price.
What kind of movement does it use and how do I service it?
It uses a Japanese quartz movement powered by a battery, so there is no winding. Plan on a battery change every couple of years, ideally by a watchmaker who can check the case seals. Gold-tone links can be cleaned with a soft dry cloth.
Is it a good gift for a woman?
It works well as a gift because the gold-tone bracelet, champagne dial and crystal markers read as elegant, and the adjustable links suit different wrists. Who it suits best is someone wanting a dressy everyday watch rather than a sports or tool watch.
Editor's take
Nine West aims this watch at women who want a dressy gold-tone look at an approachable price. The 36mm case is a sensible mid-size, and the champagne dial with crystal accented markers gives it a softly glamorous face without tipping into costume jewelry.
Inside sits a Japanese quartz movement, the practical choice for a fashion watch: accurate, light and free of winding. The domed mineral crystal protects the dial, and the gold-tone link bracelet is adjustable to a 7 inch inner circumference, so most wrists will fit with a link or two removed.
The main tradeoff is durability. Mineral glass scratches more readily than sapphire, and the watch is only splash resistant, so swimming and showering are out. Gold-tone plating on the bracelet will also wear with years of daily contact, which is normal at this level.
This suits someone who wants an elegant office or evening watch and values looks over specifications. Buyers wanting more scratch resistance or real water resistance should look at steel-cased quartz watches with sapphire crystal, which cost more but last longer. The fold-over clasp with double push-button safety is a reassuring detail for a bracelet this light.

Compact 36mm Metal Case
The 36.0mm metal case sits comfortably on smaller and average wrists, a size that follows classic dress proportions rather than current oversized trends. A mineral crystal covers the dial, giving a clear view of the hands and markers while resisting everyday scuffs.
Japanese Quartz Accuracy
A Japanese quartz movement drives the NW/2098CHGB, so timekeeping stays steady without winding or regular adjustment. Quartz calibers of this type are valued for their consistency and low maintenance, which suits a watch meant for daily wear.
Full Metal Bracelet Build
The metal strap matches the case, giving the watch a unified look and a reassuring weight on the wrist. A bracelet in this style pairs easily with both office attire and casual dress, and it can be sized by a jeweler to fit closely.
