Casio CASIOWOMANLTPV001GL9B, 25mm, Gold Dial, Brown Leather Strap

The Casio LTP-V001GL-9BUDF is an elegant women's wristwatch designed for daily wear, combining classic aesthetics with reliable functionality. This model features a precise quartz movement housed within a 25.3mm gold-tone case, perfectly sized for a feminine wrist.

Its striking gold dial is protected by a durable mineral crystal, offering clear readability and resistance against everyday scratches. The watch is complemented by a comfortable man-made leather strap, secured with a traditional buckle clasp, ensuring a secure and stylish fit.

With a water resistance of 30 metres, it is suitable for splashes and brief immersion, making it a practical accessory for various occasions. This timepiece offers a blend of sophistication and everyday utility, ideal for those seeking a dependable and chic watch.

The Casio LTP-V001GL-9BUDF is one of those small, unfussy dress watches that Casio has built for decades. It sits in the brand's everyday range, and its job is clear: tell the time legibly, look tidy on the wrist, and ask for almost nothing in return. There is no mechanical complication here and no pretence of one. This is a quartz watch meant for daily wear, and judged on those terms it does what it sets out to do.

The specifications are modest and honest. A quartz movement keeps the time and needs only the occasional battery. The case measures 25.3mm in a gold-tone finish, so it reads as a genuinely compact piece that suits a smaller wrist and slips under a cuff without drawing attention. The gold dial sits behind a mineral crystal, which resists everyday marks but is softer than sapphire and can pick up the odd scratch over the years. A man-made leather strap with a buckle finishes it off, comfortable enough but not the same proposition as full-grain leather.

Where I would set expectations is water resistance and materials. The 30m rating is splash and rain protection, nothing more. It is not a swimming or shower watch, and the strap, being synthetic, will likely be the first part you replace. None of this is a flaw at this price, it is simply the trade made to keep the watch accessible.

Who is it for? Someone who wants a small, plain gold-tone watch for casual and semi-formal wear and values not having to think about it. If you want a hardier crystal, higher water resistance, or a metal bracelet, Casio's own steel models and other quartz options in a similar bracket are worth a look. As an entry-level everyday piece, the LTP-V001GL-9BUDF is exactly what it claims to be.
