Editor's take
The Invicta Angel 17483 positions itself as an accessible yet elegant option for women seeking a versatile timepiece. This model from the Angel collection combines a feminine aesthetic with practical features, making it suitable for a wide array of daily activities. Its design ethos focuses on delivering reliable performance without compromising on style, appealing to a broad demographic.
Underpinning its functionality is a dependable Japanese quartz movement, ensuring precise timekeeping with minimal maintenance. The watch features a 38mm stainless steel case with an attractive 18k gold ion plating, providing both durability and a touch of luxury. A robust synthetic sapphire crystal protects the charcoal dial, which is adorned with luminous Arabic numerals and hands, enhancing readability in various lighting conditions. Furthermore, its 100-metre water resistance makes it a capable companion for casual aquatic adventures.
While the polyurethane strap offers comfort and resilience for active wear, some might find it less formal than a metal bracelet or leather strap for more upscale occasions. The gold-tone accents and crystal embellishments add a dressier touch, but the overall material choice leans towards a sportier, more casual profile. This is a design choice that prioritises everyday practicality over high-end formality.
Ultimately, the Invicta Angel 17483 is an excellent choice for women who need a reliable, stylish, and water-resistant watch for daily use. It's particularly well-suited for those who appreciate a blend of casual comfort and subtle elegance. For alternatives, consider other models within the Invicta Angel line for different colourways or strap options, or explore other brands offering quartz sport watches with similar water resistance.
