Description
The Nine West floral dial watch is a quartz dress watch made for women who want a simple, decorative piece for everyday outfits. The black textured dial carries a 3D-printed floral design, set off by gold-tone hands and markers.
The round 38mm case is stainless steel and sits 8mm thick, with a mineral crystal lens over the analogue display. A Japanese quartz movement keeps time and is powered by a battery. The strap is 12mm at the lugs, so it suits slimmer wrists well.
The black faux leather strap closes with a tang buckle and has a smooth finish that matches the dial. The watch is not water resistant, so it is best kept for dry, dressy occasions, office days and evenings out, where its floral detail is the main point of interest.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I wear my Nine West floral watch in the shower?
No, this Nine West is not water resistant, so showers, swimming and even handwashing are best avoided. Steam and splashes can reach the movement through the case. Keep it for dry daily wear such as office days and evenings out, and take it off before washing up.
Is it suitable for daily wear at work?
Yes for dry office days. The 38mm stainless steel case and 8mm thickness slide easily under a cuff, and the black floral dial suits smart casual outfits. It is a dress watch, so it is not meant for sport, gardening or any activity where it may get wet.
Will it fit a small wrist?
The 38mm case with 12mm lug width and 8mm thickness is moderate in size, so it generally sits well on small to medium wrists. The tang buckle strap adjusts through several holes, which helps you find a snug fit without the watch sliding around.
How does it compare with a mechanical dress watch?
This model uses a Japanese quartz movement powered by a battery, so it is more accurate day to day and needs no winding. A mechanical dress watch offers more craftsmanship but costs more and needs periodic servicing. This one suits buyers who value looks and simplicity.
How do I replace the battery?
The quartz movement runs on a standard watch battery that generally lasts one to two years. Any watch repairer can change it quickly. Because the watch is not water resistant, ask them to check the caseback fit and avoid damp conditions during the swap.
Can I swap the strap for another one?
Yes, the lug width is 12mm, so you can fit a standard 12mm replacement strap in leather or fabric. A genuine leather strap is a popular upgrade over the faux leather one. A watch repairer can change it in a few minutes with a spring bar tool.
Editor's take
Nine West sits in the fashion-watch space, and this floral dial model is aimed at women who want a decorative everyday piece rather than a tool watch. It runs on a Japanese quartz movement, which means no winding and steady timekeeping from a battery.
The standout is the black textured dial with a 3D-printed floral pattern, paired with gold-tone hands and markers. The 38mm stainless steel case is a comfortable size, and the mineral crystal lens protects the dial from everyday scuffs. The 12mm lug width keeps proportions slim and neat.
The main limit is that the watch is not water resistant, so rain, hand washing and swimming are all best avoided. The faux leather strap with tang buckle is also a fashion-grade fitting, and a genuine leather replacement would be the obvious upgrade for long-term wear.
It suits anyone building a small wardrobe of dressy watches on a modest budget. If you need water resistance or a sapphire crystal, look at entry-level quartz models from Casio or Timex instead.

From the manufacturer
A Restrained 38mm Dress Case
The NW/2044FLBK uses a 38.0mm stainless steel case, a size that sits comfortably under a shirt cuff and follows classic dress watch proportions. A crystal covers the dial, keeping the face clear and legible from most angles without adding bulk.
Japanese Quartz Accuracy
A Japanese quartz movement drives the time, which means steady rate keeping without winding or regular regulation. For a dress watch, that suits daily wear well: it is dependable, thin in practice, and needs little attention beyond an occasional battery change.
Faux Leather Strap, Steel Case
The faux leather strap pairs with the stainless steel case to give the watch a traditional dress profile with a softer, lighter feel on the wrist. It is a sensible choice for office and evening wear. No water resistance rating is specified, so keep it away from water and treat it as a dry-wear piece.
