Description
The OUPINKE G3186 is an automatic skeleton wristwatch for men who like to see the movement at work. Its black dial with Roman numerals suits business wear as well as relaxed daily outfits.
The watch uses a self-winding automatic movement inside a 41mm stainless steel case, 13mm thick, with a sapphire crystal. The stainless steel bracelet fits a 20mm lug width and closes with a fold clasp. Water resistance is rated at 50 metres.
A calendar window shows weekday, date and month, and luminous pigment on the dial helps with reading the time at night. At 152 grams it has a solid feel on the wrist. It handles handwashing and casual swimming, but hot showers and saunas are best avoided.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I wear this watch swimming or in the shower?
The OUPINKE G3186 is rated 5ATM, or 50 metres, which covers handwashing, rain and a casual dip in the pool. Hot showers, saunas and prolonged underwater sports are not recommended, since heat and steam can affect the seals and the movement inside.
Will a 41mm case fit my wrist?
The case measures 41mm across and 13mm thick, with a 20mm lug width, so it wears as a medium to large watch. It generally suits average to larger wrists, while very slim wrists may find the thickness noticeable.
Do I need to wind it every day?
This is a self-winding automatic, so wrist motion keeps the mainspring charged during normal daily wear. If it sits unworn for a while, it generally needs a few gentle shakes or manual winding before it starts running again.
How does it compare with a regular dress automatic?
Compared with a closed-dial dress automatic, the OUPINKE G3186 shows its movement through a skeleton dial and adds a calendar window with Roman numerals. A standard dress automatic is usually quieter visually, so choose it if you prefer a cleaner dial.
Is it suitable for business wear and daily sport?
The black skeleton dial and stainless steel bracelet suit office and formal settings well. For daily sport such as running, the 50 metre rating and 152 gram weight are workable for light use, though a lighter quartz watch is a more practical alternative for heavy training.
How should I look after the movement and bracelet?
Wipe the stainless steel bracelet with a soft damp cloth and keep it away from hot water. Mechanical watches generally benefit from a service every few years, and a local watchmaker can handle battery-free upkeep such as regulation and cleaning.
Editor's take
OUPINKE is not a name from the Swiss heritage houses, and the G3186 makes no attempt to pretend otherwise. It is a budget-minded skeleton dial automatic for men who want a mechanical look with a dressy, formal theme, sold through Amazon since March 2023.
The core is a self-winding automatic movement inside a 41mm stainless steel case, covered by a sapphire crystal. Sapphire is the sensible choice here, because an open dial invites a lot of glances and scratches would show quickly. The Roman numerals and calendar window add some function to the show.
The weak point is water resistance. At 50 metres (5ATM) it handles handwashing and a quick dip, but it is not a watch for sustained swimming, hot showers or saunas. The page does not name a calibre, so anyone who cares about servicing parts or a documented movement should keep that in mind.
It suits a buyer who wants a skeletonised look on a 20mm stainless steel bracelet with a fold clasp without paying for a Swiss name. If a named calibre and proper service backing matter more, look at entry-level automatics from established Japanese or Swiss brands instead.

From the manufacturer
Open Worked Automatic Movement
The G3186 uses an automatic movement, wound by the motion of your wrist, so no battery is involved. The skeleton dial cuts away material to show the gear train, mainspring barrel and balance in motion. It rewards a closer look at any angle.
41mm Stainless Steel Case
The case measures 41.0mm and is made of stainless steel, a size that sits comfortably on most wrists without looking oversized. The metal holds up well to daily knocks and wear. Its proportions suit both a dress shirt cuff and casual clothing.
Sapphire Crystal Over the Mechanism
A sapphire crystal covers the dial, which matters on a skeleton watch where the movement is the main feature. Sapphire resists scratches far better than mineral glass, so the exposed mechanism stays clearly visible over years of wear. Clarity is the point here.
Steel Bracelet for Daily Wear
The stainless steel bracelet matches the case finish and gives the watch a solid, balanced feel on the wrist. Steel links tolerate sweat, water and routine handling without special care. It pairs well with the open dial and suits long days of wear.
50 Metres Water Resistance
Rated to 50 metres, the G3186 handles splashes, hand washing and rain without concern. It is not intended for swimming or diving, and the crown should stay pushed in. Treat it as a sturdy everyday watch with sensible limits.
