Description
The OUPINKE Dragon Skeleton is a men's dress watch built around a gold dragon motif and an open skeleton dial. It is aimed at buyers who want a visible mechanical movement and a bold, decorative look on the wrist.
The watch runs on a Japanese 8N24 automatic movement with 21 synthetic rubies and a stop-second function. The 42mm stainless steel case is paired with a synthetic sapphire crystal and a scratch-resistant coating, and water resistance is rated at 50 metres.
The gold tungsten steel bracelet closes with a double locking foldover clasp and can be resized by removing links. With a power reserve of up to 42 hours, it needs no battery, and it ships in a gift box with adjustment tools.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I wear the Dragon Skeleton in the shower or pool?
The OUPINKE Dragon Skeleton is rated to 50 metres, which generally covers rain, hand washing and a quick rinse. Showers with hot water and steam, and swimming, are best avoided, since heat and pressure can wear down the seals over time. Keep the crown pushed in whenever it is near water.
Is it sturdy enough for daily wear and light sport?
The synthetic sapphire crystal with a scratch-resistant coating and the stainless steel case handle everyday knocks well. The OUPINKE Dragon Skeleton suits walking and office use, but it is a dress watch, so avoid impact sports and heavy gym sessions that could stress the movement.
How does it differ from a standard automatic dress watch?
Versus a typical solid-dial automatic, this one shows its Japanese 8N24 movement through an open skeleton dial and adds a three-dimensional gold dragon motif. In exchange, legibility is lower and the 42-hour reserve is shorter, so a plainer automatic is the alternative if you want easy reading.
Does it need a battery, and how do I keep it running?
No battery is needed, because the 8N24 automatic movement winds from wrist motion and can also be wound by hand. Wearing the OUPINKE Dragon Skeleton for several hours a day keeps it running. After a rest of about 42 hours it will stop and need setting again.
Will it fit my wrist?
The case is 42mm across with a 21mm lug width and 12mm thickness, which sits comfortably on most average to larger wrists. The tungsten steel bracelet is adjustable by removing links, and adjustment tools are included, so you can size it at home for a suitable fit.
Is it a good gift and what comes in the box?
Who is it suitable for as a present? The OUPINKE Dragon Skeleton suits a husband, father or friend who likes bold watches. It arrives in a gift box together with band adjustment tools, so the recipient can size the bracelet to their wrist straight away.
Editor's take
The OUPINKE Dragon Skeleton is a loud, decorative take on the men's dress watch, aimed at buyers who value visual drama over restraint. A gold dragon motif sits over an open skeleton dial, and the whole package is built to be noticed across a room.
The heart of it is the Japanese 8N24 automatic movement, with 21 synthetic rubies and a stop-second function that lets you set the time precisely. The 42mm stainless steel case is topped with synthetic sapphire and a scratch-resistant coating, which is a sensible choice for a watch worn daily.
There are trade-offs. A 50 m rating covers splashes and brief contact with water, but this is not a watch for serious swimming. The 42-hour power reserve is on the short side, so a watch left off the wrist over a weekend will likely stop. Skeleton dials also reduce legibility compared with a solid dial.
It suits someone who wants a conversation piece with a visible mechanism and a tungsten steel bracelet with a double locking foldover clasp. Buyers who prefer a quieter dial and a longer reserve should look at conventional automatics from established Japanese brands in a similar price bracket.

From the manufacturer
Japanese Automatic Movement
A Japanese automatic movement powers this Oupinke OL-P-G3276GG-GG, winding from the motion of your wrist rather than a battery. The self-winding mechanism suits collectors who value a mechanical heartbeat and the steady sweep of the seconds hand.
42mm Stainless Steel Case
The 42.0mm stainless steel case sits at a familiar size for daily wear, with enough presence for a dress or casual setting. Steel offers solid resistance to knocks and scratches, and it takes a clean finish that holds up well over years of regular use.
Synthetic Sapphire Crystal
The dial is covered by synthetic sapphire, a material chosen for its hardness and resistance to everyday scuffs. It keeps the dial legible and clear, which matters on a watch where the movement and dial details are meant to be read closely.
Tungsten Steel Strap, 50m
The tungsten steel strap brings noticeable weight and a dense, polished surface that resists marking better than many common alloys. With 50m water resistance, the watch handles splashes and rain, though it is not intended for swimming or diving.
