What kind of battery does this Sekonda digital watch use and how long does it last?
The Sekonda 1163.05 uses a 371 (silver oxide) replacement battery. While battery life can vary with usage, it is generally designed to last up to 2 years, ensuring reliable operation for an extended period before needing a change.

Is the 51mm case size of this sport watch suitable for all wrist sizes?
The Sekonda 1163.05 features a substantial 51mm case, which provides excellent readability and a bold presence. While many men find this size comfortable, individuals with particularly slender wrists might find it feels quite large. It's best to consider your personal preference for watch size.
How durable is the plastic case and mineral glass of the Sekonda 1163.05 for daily use?

Editor's take
The Sekonda 1163.05 positions itself as a highly functional and accessible digital sport watch, catering to individuals who prioritise utility and durability in their daily wear. With its bold 51mm case and clear digital display, it offers a straightforward approach to timekeeping and additional features, making it a practical choice for an active lifestyle.
Technically, this Sekonda model is built around a reliable digital quartz movement, ensuring accurate timekeeping with minimal maintenance. Its robust plastic case and mineral crystal provide ample protection against everyday bumps and scratches. Crucially, the 100m water resistance rating means it can comfortably handle swimming and showering, extending its utility beyond mere splash protection.
One might note that while the 51mm case offers excellent readability, its substantial size might not suit all wrist types, potentially feeling oversized for those with smaller frames. Furthermore, the plastic construction, while lightweight and durable, lacks the premium feel of stainless steel or other higher-end materials, which is a trade-off for its affordability.
Ultimately, the Sekonda 1163.05 is an excellent choice for budget-conscious consumers seeking a feature-rich, robust digital watch for sports, casual wear, or as a reliable backup timepiece. For those desiring a more traditional aesthetic or a smaller form factor, exploring Sekonda's analogue sport watch collections or other brands offering compact digital options might be worthwhile.
