All our watch size dataDescription
The Sekonda Marina 4406 is a straightforward, accessible quartz watch designed for everyday wear. Its unisex appeal and practical features make it a versatile choice for those seeking reliability without excessive complexity. This model embodies Sekonda's commitment to delivering functional timepieces that blend British design sensibilities with affordability.
At its core, the Marina 4406 relies on a Japanese quartz movement, ensuring precise and low-maintenance timekeeping. The 36mm polycarbonate case offers a lightweight yet durable build, complemented by a mineral glass lens that provides good scratch resistance for daily activities. With a water resistance of 50 metres, it can comfortably handle splashes and brief immersion.
While the 50m water resistance is adequate for daily splashes, it's important to note that this watch is not designed for swimming or diving, despite its "Marina" name and rotating bezel. The rubber strap and buckle closure are practical but may not offer the same longevity or premium feel as a metal bracelet or high-quality leather. Its simple design, while versatile, might lack the intricate details desired by enthusiasts of mechanical horology.
The Sekonda Marina 4406 is an excellent option for individuals seeking a reliable, easy-to-read, and budget-friendly timepiece for casual or active daily use. For those requiring greater water resistance or a more robust build for water sports, exploring dedicated dive watches from brands like Citizen or Casio would be a more suitable alternative. It serves well as a first watch or a dependable secondary timepiece.
