How does the Casio LW204-4A compare to other entry-level digital sport watches?
The Casio LW204-4A 612799 stands out with its vibrant pink resin design and reliable digital quartz movement. While many entry-level watches offer similar functions, this model provides a good balance of durability, essential digital features, and a distinctive aesthetic at its price point, making it a strong alternative for those seeking style and function.
What wrist sizes is this Casio LW204-4A watch suitable for?
With a 35.9mm case diameter, the Casio LW204-4A 612799 is well-suited for smaller to medium wrist sizes, typically ranging from 5.5 to 7.5 inches. The resin strap is flexible and comfortable, adapting well to various wrist contours for a secure fit.

This Casio LW204-4A 612799 watch features a 1/100-second stopwatch, a countdown timer, a multi-function alarm, and an hourly time signal. It also includes a full auto-calendar until 2039 and a bright LED backlight for easy reading in any light condition.
Editor's take
The Casio LW204-4A 612799 positions itself as an accessible and reliable digital sport watch, specifically tailored for women seeking functionality and a touch of vibrant style. This model embodies Casio's long-standing reputation for producing robust and practical timepieces, making it an excellent choice for daily wear and light athletic pursuits. Its resin construction ensures both durability and a lightweight feel on the wrist, perfect for those with an active lifestyle.
Technically, the watch is powered by a precise digital quartz movement, offering a suite of useful functions including a 1/100-second stopwatch, countdown timer, and a multi-function alarm. The 50-meter water resistance provides ample protection against splashes and brief immersion, while the LED backlight ensures readability in various lighting conditions. Furthermore, the CR2016 battery boasts an approximate three-year lifespan, reducing the need for frequent maintenance.
However, potential buyers should note that the resin glass, while durable for general use, may be more susceptible to scratches compared to mineral or sapphire crystals found in higher-end models. Additionally, while 50m water resistance is practical for everyday activities, it is not recommended for serious swimming or diving, which would require a higher rating. The fixed resin strap also limits customisation options.
Overall, the Casio LW204-4A 612799 is an ideal choice for women who value a straightforward, functional, and colourful digital watch for casual and sporty occasions. For those requiring more extreme durability or advanced water sports capabilities, exploring Casio's G-Shock range or dedicated dive watches might be a more suitable alternative.
