Yes, the Invicta Angel 48847 is designed for daily wear, offering both style and durability. With 50 meters of water resistance, it can withstand splashes, rain, and short periods of recreational swimming, but it is not recommended for diving or prolonged water exposure.
What type of movement powers the Invicta Angel 48847?
The Invicta Angel 48847 is powered by a precise quartz movement. This type of movement is known for its accuracy and low maintenance, as it operates on a battery and does not require manual winding, making it a convenient choice for everyday use.
How does the Invicta Angel 48847 compare to other watches in its price range?
The Invicta Angel 48847 stands out with its elegant rose gold-tone accents on a stainless steel bracelet and a reliable quartz movement. While many watches in this range offer similar water resistance and mineral glass, the Angel's distinctive aesthetic and brand recognition provide a unique value proposition for those seeking a fashionable yet functional timepiece.
What is the recommended wrist size for the 38mm Invicta Angel watch?
The 38mm case size of the Invicta Angel 48847 is generally considered versatile and suitable for a wide range of women's wrist sizes, typically from 6 to 7.5 inches (15 to 19 cm) in circumference. The stainless steel bracelet can usually be adjusted by removing links for a perfect fit.
What kind of maintenance does a quartz watch like the Invicta Angel 48847 require?
A quartz watch like the Invicta Angel 48847 requires minimal maintenance. The primary service needed is a battery replacement, typically every 2-3 years, depending on usage. Editor's take
The Invicta Angel 48847 presents itself as an accessible and stylish option for women seeking a versatile everyday timepiece. Part of Invicta’s popular Angel collection, this model combines a classic aesthetic with modern accents, making it suitable for both casual and semi-formal settings. Its design language, featuring a round case and a metallic bracelet, aligns with contemporary trends for ladies' watches.
Technically, the Angel 48847 is built around a reliable quartz movement, offering the convenience of accurate timekeeping without the need for winding. The 38mm stainless steel case is a comfortable size for most wrists, while the mineral crystal provides adequate scratch resistance for daily wear. A water resistance rating of 50 meters means it can handle splashes and brief immersion, adding to its practicality.
One potential consideration for enthusiasts is the use of a mineral crystal rather than sapphire, which is more scratch-resistant. While the mineral crystal is durable for everyday use, it may not offer the same level of protection against deeper scratches as sapphire. Additionally, the 50m water resistance, while sufficient for daily life, means it is not intended for serious swimming or diving activities.
Overall, the Invicta Angel 48847 is a solid choice for women who prioritize style and ease of use in a watch. It’s particularly well-suited for those who appreciate a touch of rose gold-tone elegance and the low-maintenance nature of a quartz timepiece. For those seeking higher water resistance or a more robust crystal, exploring other Invicta collections or alternative brands might be beneficial.
