Description
The OUPINKE skeleton tourbillon is an automatic men's watch built around a black open-worked dial and a 40mm stainless steel case. It targets buyers who want a dressy, mechanical look with visible movement action and a calendar function on the wrist.
The watch uses an automatic mechanical movement with 21 rubies that can be wound by hand or by wrist motion, so no battery is needed. The case is stainless steel with a synthetic sapphire glass, and water resistance is rated at 50m, which covers splashes and everyday handwashing rather than swimming.
The standout detail is the tungsten bracelet, listed as stronger and more durable than stainless steel, closed with a double locking foldover clasp. Total length is 24cm and it can be sized with the included tool. Luminous hands help with reading the time in low light, and the 12mm case height keeps it manageable under a cuff.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I wear this OUPINKE skeleton watch swimming?
No, the OUPINKE skeleton tourbillon is rated to 50m, which in practice means splashes and handwashing. Swimming, showering and hot water are best avoided because pressure and steam can get past the seals. Keep it for daily wear and dressy occasions, and choose a dedicated dive or sport watch for water activities.
Is it comfortable for daily wear on a smaller wrist?
The case is 40mm across and 12mm thick with 20mm lugs, which suits most average wrists. The tungsten bracelet is the heavier part, as the whole watch weighs 433g, so some people find it tiring over a full day. The included adjustment tool lets you size the 24cm bracelet.
How does it compare with a regular quartz dress watch?
Compared with a quartz dress watch, this OUPINKE uses an automatic mechanical movement with 21 rubies and shows its workings through a skeleton dial. It needs no battery but is less accurate and needs periodic service. A quartz alternative is lighter, cheaper to run and more precise for everyday use.
Does it need a battery or manual winding?
It needs no battery. The automatic movement winds from wrist motion, and it can also be wound by hand at the crown. If you leave it unworn for a few days, wind it a little and set the time before putting it on, and the self-winding takes over again.
What is the bracelet made of and can I resize it?
The bracelet is tungsten, which the maker says is more durable than stainless steel, and it closes with a double locking foldover clasp. Total length is 24cm. A free adjustment tool comes in the box, so you can remove links to fit your wrist size.
Is it suitable as a gift for a man?
Yes, it works as a gift for men who like mechanical or skeleton watches. It arrives with a gift box, adjustment tool and user guide, and the seller offers 30-day free returns. The black dial and 40mm case suit both casual and dressy outfits.
Editor's take
OUPINKE aims this skeleton piece at buyers who like the look of a tourbillon dial without paying for a Swiss complication. It is a 40mm men's dress watch with a black open-worked face, and the skeleton tourbillon styling is the whole point of the design.
Power comes from an automatic mechanical movement with 21 rubies, which can be wound by hand or by wrist motion. The case is stainless steel and the crystal is synthetic sapphire, a sensible combination for scratch resistance at this level. Luminous hands add legibility after dark.
The main limit is the 50m water resistance, which means splashes and handwashing only, so swimming and showering are out. The listing does not name a calibre, so long-term servicing support is harder to judge than with a recognized movement. The tungsten bracelet with its double locking foldover clasp is also heavy, with the watch weighing 433g.
It suits someone who wants a showy mechanical watch for dressing up and is comfortable with its weight. If you prefer a named, serviceable movement, look at entry-level automatics from Seiko or Orient in a similar bracket.

OUPINKE Mens Watch
OUPINKE adheres to the concept of combining modern design with fashion. We have a team of watchmakers with exquisite craftsmanship and excellent technology. With their professional skills and enthusiasm for the watch industry, they design watches with high quality for you.
Automatic Dress Watch in 40mm
The 40.0mm stainless steel case sits in the classic range for a dress watch and slips easily under a shirt cuff. An automatic movement winds from wrist motion, so there is no battery to replace and the second hand sweeps smoothly.
Crafted Through 193 Processes
OUPINKE relies on strong design and development strength, after 5 structural cuttings, 7 manual fine polishing, 0.03 high-precision laser engraving, and 193 precision craftsmanship, you can have a high-quality automatic mechanical watch that surpasses the product itself.
Sapphire Crystal Face
The crystal is synthetic sapphire, which ranks 9 on the Mohs scale and resists scratches from daily contact with desks, keys and door frames. It keeps the dial legible and clear over years of regular wear.
Calendar and time adjustments
Set the date and time through the crown, pulling it out to its positions as you would on a typical automatic. Avoid changing the date between roughly 9 PM and 3 AM, when the calendar mechanism is engaged, to protect the gears.
Tungsten Strap Build
The tungsten strap is dense and carries a noticeable weight on the wrist, with a cool, polished surface that resists scratching well. Tungsten is hard but brittle, so avoid knocks against hard surfaces and check the fit before wearing.
50 Meter Water Resistance
Rated to 50 meters, the watch handles splashes, hand washing and rain without concern. It is not intended for swimming or diving, and the crown should stay fully pushed in whenever the watch is near water.
