Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Invicta Angel 31072 suitable for daily wear and swimming?
The Invicta Angel 31072 features 100 metres of water resistance, making it suitable for daily activities like showering and light swimming. However, it is not recommended for diving or high-impact water sports. For prolonged water exposure, always ensure the crown is pushed in.
What kind of movement does the Invicta Angel 31072 use, and how often does the battery need changing?
This Invicta Angel watch is powered by a reliable quartz movement, known for its accuracy and low maintenance. The battery life typically lasts several years, but the exact interval for battery replacement can vary based on usage. It's generally a simple process for a watchmaker.
How does the Flame Fusion crystal on this Invicta Angel compare to sapphire?
The Flame Fusion crystal on the Invicta Angel 31072 offers good scratch and impact resistance for daily use. While it is more durable than standard mineral glass, it does not provide the same level of scratch resistance as a sapphire crystal, which is typically found in higher-end watches.
Is the 38mm case size of the Invicta Angel 31072 suitable for all wrist sizes?
The 38mm case size of the Invicta Angel 31072 is a versatile dimension that generally suits a wide range of women's wrist sizes, from smaller to average. It offers a noticeable presence without being overly bulky, making it a comfortable fit for most. The bracelet can also be adjusted by removing links.
What makes the Invicta Angel 31072 a good alternative in its price range?
The Invicta Angel 31072 stands out with its distinctive rose gold aesthetic and reliable quartz movement, offering a blend of fashion and function. Compared to other watches in its price range, it provides a robust stainless steel build and 100m water resistance, making it a stylish and durable choice for those seeking a fashionable daily timepiece.
Editor's take
The Invicta Angel 31072 positions itself as an accessible and stylish timepiece for women, blending a fashionable aesthetic with reliable functionality. Its prominent rose gold finish across the dial and stainless steel band makes it a statement piece, ideal for those seeking a watch that complements contemporary fashion trends without compromising on everyday wearability.
At its core, this Angel model is powered by a dependable quartz movement, ensuring precise timekeeping that requires minimal intervention. The robust 38mm stainless steel case provides a substantial yet comfortable presence on the wrist, protected by a durable Flame Fusion crystal. This combination offers a good balance of resilience for daily activities, further supported by its practical 100-metre water resistance.
While the Invicta Angel 31072 excels in style and basic reliability, it is important to note that the Flame Fusion crystal, while durable, does not offer the same scratch resistance as sapphire. For individuals prioritising extreme durability or high-end horological craftsmanship, this model might be seen as more of a fashion accessory than a tool watch.
Ultimately, the Invicta Angel 31072 is an excellent choice for women desiring a visually appealing and low-maintenance watch for daily use. Its blend of a striking rose gold design and solid construction makes it a versatile option for various settings. Those looking for a more mechanically intricate or ultra-rugged timepiece might consider alternatives in a different price segment.
