How does the Invicta Angel 49847 compare to other women's watches in its price range?
The Invicta Angel 49847 stands out with its elegant gold dial, 38mm case size, and durable stainless steel bracelet. It offers a blend of style and reliable quartz accuracy, making it a strong alternative for those seeking a fashionable yet functional timepiece.

Editor's take
The Invicta Angel 49847 presents itself as an accessible and elegant choice for women seeking a reliable timepiece with a touch of glamour. Part of the popular Angel collection, this watch embodies Invicta's commitment to offering visually striking designs at an attractive price point. It's a versatile piece, suitable for various settings from casual outings to more formal events, making it a strong contender for an everyday dress watch.
Underneath its polished exterior, the Angel 49847 is powered by a dependable quartz movement, ensuring precise timekeeping without the need for manual winding. The 38mm round case, crafted to a comfortable dimension, is complemented by a matching stainless steel bracelet. Protecting the radiant gold dial is a scratch-resistant mineral crystal, offering reasonable durability against daily wear, while its 30-meter water resistance handles splashes and light rain.
One consideration for potential buyers is the water resistance; at 30 metres, this watch is suitable for everyday splashes but not recommended for swimming or showering. While the mineral crystal offers good scratch resistance, it is not as hard as sapphire, which might be a factor for those seeking ultimate durability. The design, though elegant, is quite specific with its gold-tone finish, which might not appeal to all tastes.
Ultimately, the Invicta Angel 49847 is best suited for individuals who prioritise style and accuracy in an affordable package. It's an excellent option for those looking for a fashionable accessory that provides reliable timekeeping. For users requiring higher water resistance or extreme scratch protection, exploring other Invicta collections or alternative brands might be advisable.
