Editor's take
The Invicta Angel 24662 positions itself as an accessible yet stylish option for women seeking a versatile timepiece. With its striking combination of rose gold tones and a vibrant blue dial, it caters to those who desire a watch that transitions seamlessly from casual daily wear to more active recreational pursuits. This model, part of the popular Angel collection, embodies Invicta's approach to bold design and functional utility.
At its core, the Angel 24662 is powered by a reliable Japanese quartz movement, specifically the PC21 Caliber, ensuring accurate timekeeping with minimal maintenance. The 40mm rose gold tone stainless steel case provides a substantial presence on the wrist without being overly bulky, while the Flame Fusion crystal offers a good balance of clarity and scratch resistance, a signature Invicta feature. Its 100-metre water resistance makes it suitable for various water sports, excluding professional diving.
One potential consideration for some users might be the blend of stainless steel and resin in the bracelet. While offering a unique aesthetic and comfort, the resin components may show wear differently over time compared to a full metal bracelet. Additionally, the 18mm band width, while proportionate, might feel slightly narrow for those accustomed to broader watch straps.
Ultimately, the Invicta Angel 24662 is an excellent choice for women who prioritise a fashionable design, dependable quartz accuracy, and practical water resistance for everyday activities. It appeals to those looking for a statement piece that doesn't compromise on functionality, offering a compelling alternative to more subdued designs in its price segment.
