Invicta Venom 0359, 52mm, Silver Dial, Brown Leather Strap

The Invicta Venom Chronograph 0359 is a robust and visually striking timepiece designed for men who appreciate a bold aesthetic and serious functionality. Part of the brand's Reserve Collection, this watch combines a powerful presence with reliable Swiss quartz precision, making it suitable for both adventurous pursuits and everyday wear. Its distinctive design ensures it stands out on the wrist.

At its core, the Venom Chronograph 0359 is powered by a precise Swiss quartz movement, ensuring accurate timekeeping and chronograph functions. The watch features a polished stainless steel case, providing durability and a refined look, complemented by a brown leather strap for comfort. A resilient flame-fusion crystal protects the silver dial, which is equipped with luminous rose gold-tone hands and hour markers for visibility in low light.

Engineered for extreme conditions, this model boasts an impressive water resistance of 1000 metres, supported by a screw-down crown and pushers, making it ideal for professional diving. The 18k rose gold-plated unidirectional bezel adds a touch of luxury while serving a practical purpose for timing dives. With its three chronograph subdials and date function, the 0359 offers comprehensive utility for the active individual.

The Invicta Venom Chronograph 0359 from the Reserve Collection presents a formidable option for enthusiasts seeking a watch with both substantial wrist presence and robust functionality. This model, launched in 2010, caters to a male audience that values a blend of aggressive styling and reliable performance, making it a versatile companion for various activities, from casual wear to serious aquatic adventures. Its distinctive design ensures it stands out on the wrist.

Powering this impressive timepiece is a precise Swiss quartz movement, a choice that ensures exceptional accuracy and minimal maintenance, a key advantage for a tool watch. The construction features a polished stainless steel case paired with a resilient flame-fusion crystal, offering superior scratch resistance compared to standard mineral glass. Furthermore, the inclusion of a screw-down crown and pushers is critical for maintaining its formidable water resistance.

While the 0359 excels in durability and water resistance, its substantial 20.6mm case thickness and 26mm lug width might prove unwieldy for smaller wrists, potentially limiting its appeal to those who prefer a more understated profile. The brown leather strap, while comfortable, may also require more frequent replacement than a metal bracelet, especially with regular exposure to water, despite the watch's high water rating.

For individuals seeking a high-performance chronograph with an undeniable visual impact, the Invicta Venom 0359 is a compelling choice. Its 1000-metre water resistance positions it firmly in the professional dive watch category, albeit with a quartz heart. Those prioritising a more traditional mechanical movement or a more compact form factor might consider alternatives, but for sheer presence and robust utility, this Invicta 0359 stands out.
