Nine West NW/2091RGSB, 29mm, Grey Dial

This Nine West women's watch pairs a compact 29 mm stainless steel case with an adjustable mesh bracelet in a silver tone. It suits anyone who wants a slim, light piece for office hours and casual outings.

Inside sits a Japanese quartz movement with an analogue display, covered by a mineral crystal lens. The dial has a sunray finish in grey, with a taupe look, rose gold-tone hands and markers, Roman numeral detailing and a black printed inner minute track. The case is 8 mm thick and the lug width is 18 mm.

The mesh bracelet closes with a jewellery clasp and can be sized to the wrist, which makes fitting simple. The watch is splash-resistant and weighs about 4 ounces, so it is a practical choice for daily wear rather than for swimming.

Nine West has long worked the accessible fashion-watch space, and this small women's model fits that mould: a 29 mm case, a slim 8 mm profile and a silver-tone mesh bracelet aimed at daily wear. It reads as a dressy piece rather than a tool, and the sunray dial gives it a soft shimmer under office light.

Power comes from a Japanese quartz movement with an analogue display, which keeps the watch light and low-maintenance. The stainless steel case sits behind a mineral crystal, and the dial carries Roman numerals with rose gold-tone hands and a printed minute track, so legibility is straightforward.

The main limitation is water exposure. The watch is only splash-resistant, so showers, pools and sweaty workouts are best avoided. Mineral crystal also scratches more readily than sapphire, which matters if the watch lives on a desk-bound wrist that knocks against surfaces.

It suits someone wanting a neat, lightweight dress-leaning watch with an adjustable mesh bracelet and no fuss. For a similar budget, a leather-strapped fashion quartz offers more strap variety, while a solar model would remove battery changes.
