Amazfit Balance 2 A2430, 48mm, Black Silicone Band

The Amazfit Balance 2 is a multisport smartwatch for people who train regularly and want detailed data on the wrist. It pairs an aluminum body with a round 1.5-inch AMOLED screen and tracks more than 180 sports.

The screen is covered by sapphire crystal glass, and the silicone strap is secured with a buckle and has a 22 mm lug width. Water resistance is rated at 100 m. Dual-band GPS draws on six satellite systems, and offline maps provide turn-by-turn directions.

Battery life reaches up to 21 days under typical use, so charging rarely interrupts a training plan. Health tracking covers heart rate, sleep, blood oxygen, stress and HRV, while running metrics include lactate threshold, running power and gait analysis.

Amazfit built the Balance 2 for athletes who want serious training data without moving to a premium price tier. It is a multisport tracker first, with more than 180 modes, and it sits in the brand's performance range rather than among its lifestyle models.

The display is a 1.5-inch AMOLED panel under sapphire crystal, which resists scratches far better than the mineral glass found on many rivals. Navigation relies on dual-band GPS across six satellite systems, plus offline maps with turn-by-turn directions. The aluminum case keeps weight down to about 42 g including the silicone strap.

The trade-off is the usual one for a smartwatch: battery life of up to 21 days applies to typical use, and heavy GPS tracking will shorten it noticeably. The 100 m water resistance covers swimming and showers, but this is not a dive instrument, and a smartwatch has no service life comparable to a mechanical watch.

It suits runners, gym users and golfers who value metrics such as lactate threshold, running power and HRV. Those who prefer a traditional look should consider a quartz or automatic sports watch, whereas buyers wanting deeper app ecosystems may compare Garmin or Apple models.
