Description
Amazfit Balance 3 is a multisport smartwatch for people who train regularly and want fitness data without a monthly fee. It pairs a titanium case with a silicone strap and a round AMOLED display, so it stays light on the wrist through long days.
The 1.5-inch AMOLED screen is protected by sapphire glass and stays readable in bright daylight. Water resistance is rated at 100 m, GPS and an always-on display are included, and the buckle closure keeps the silicone strap secure during workouts.
Battery life reaches up to 21 days on one charge, which cuts down on charger stops during travel. Health and recovery data sits in the free Zepp App, and the watch tracks heart rate, HRV, blood oxygen, sleep and stress. A built-in white or tactical red flashlight adds practical use after dark.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I wear the Balance 3 for swimming?
The Amazfit Balance 3 is rated to 100 m water resistance, so pool swimming and showering are fine for most wearers. Avoid high-pressure water such as diving boards or jet sprays, and rinse it with fresh water after saltwater use to keep the silicone strap and buckle clean.
How long will the battery last between charges?
Amazfit claims up to 21 days on a single charge for the Balance 3. Real life is usually shorter if you use GPS often, keep the always-on display active or run the flashlight, so heavy sport users should expect a lower figure than light daily wearers.
Will it work as a daily sport watch for runs and gym sessions?
Yes for most training. The Balance 3 has GPS, a multisport tracker, heart rate, HRV and blood oxygen monitoring, and a light titanium case that stays comfortable during workouts. It also syncs with Strava and TrainingPeaks for longer-term planning.
How is it different from a regular fitness band?
Compared with a slim band, the Balance 3 has a 1.5-inch AMOLED screen under sapphire glass, a titanium case and a built-in flashlight. It reads better in sunlight and resists scratches more than most bands, while offering the same health tracking.
Do I need a subscription to see my health data?
No. Health, recovery and workout data are free in the included Zepp App. You can also track calories and protein goals, and share sessions with Strava, TrainingPeaks and Intervals.ICU without paying for a premium plan.
Who is the Balance 3 suitable for and will it fit my wrist?
It has a round face and 22 mm lug width, so it suits most adult wrists and accepts standard 22 mm straps. It is a good fit for runners, gym users and HYROX trainees, and the light titanium keeps it comfortable on smaller wrists.
Editor's take
Amazfit's Balance 3 targets athletes and everyday users who want a long-lasting smartwatch without a subscription. A titanium case and silicone strap keep the weight at roughly 55 g, and the round AMOLED display gives it a clear, modern face.
The 1.5-inch screen sits under sapphire glass, which matters for a watch that will pick up knocks during training. Add GPS, an always-on display and a 100 m water rating, and you have a capable multisport tool. The HybridCharge feature advises when to push and when to recover, which makes the data more useful than raw numbers.
The trade-off is that this is a smartwatch, not a mechanical piece. It needs charging, even if 21 days of battery is generous, and the software will age differently from a movement you can service for decades. Those who want a watch to hand down should look at an automatic or solar model instead.
It suits runners, gym users and HYROX trainees who want a light titanium watch with free app data. For similar money, a dedicated sports watch from Garmin or Coros is the obvious alternative if mapping depth matters more than screen quality.

Balance 3 in Comparison to Other Amazfit Smartwatches
Amazfit Balance 3
46mm Titanium Case
The Balance 3 uses a 46.0mm titanium case, which keeps weight low on the wrist while resisting the scratches and corrosion that wear down steel over the years. The size suits a standard dress cuff and still reads clearly at a glance.
Sapphire Crystal Protection
A sapphire crystal covers the display. At 9 on the Mohs scale, it is far harder than mineral glass and handles the daily contact with desks, door frames and keys that leaves fine marks on lesser crystals. Legibility stays clean over time.
Rated to 100 Meters
Water resistance is rated to 100 meters, which covers swimming, showering and surface water sports without concern. As with any sealed case, rinse it with fresh water after salt exposure and avoid hot water or steam to protect the gaskets.
Silicone Strap for Daily Wear
The silicone strap is soft, light and unaffected by sweat or pool water, so it does not need the care a leather band demands. It stays comfortable through long days and workouts, and the standard fitting makes swapping to another band simple.
A2566 Smart Watch Reference
The A2566 is Amazfit's Balance 3 smartwatch, built around a titanium case and sapphire crystal rather than the plastic and glass common in the category. It is a considered choice for a wearer who wants a connected watch with real material quality.
