What type of battery does the Nine West NW/2597FLGY use, and how often does it need replacement?
The Nine West NW/2597FLGY is powered by a standard watch battery, typical for Japanese quartz movements. While the specific battery type isn't listed, these generally last 2-3 years. Battery replacement should be done by a professional to ensure proper sealing and function.

Editor's take
The Nine West NW/2597FLGY is a charming women's dress watch designed for those who appreciate a blend of classic form and a touch of contemporary flair. This timepiece, part of Nine West's accessible fashion offerings, caters to individuals seeking a stylish accessory for everyday wear or special occasions. Its distinctive floral dial sets it apart from more minimalist designs, offering a unique visual appeal.
Powering this elegant watch is a reliable Japanese quartz movement, ensuring accurate timekeeping with minimal maintenance. The 37mm metal case provides a comfortable presence on the wrist, while the domed mineral crystal lens protects the intricate dial. The gunmetal grey adjustable metal bracelet, secured by a double locking foldover clasp, offers both durability and a refined aesthetic.
One point to consider is its "Not Water Resistant" rating, meaning it should be kept away from water exposure, including showering or swimming. This limits its versatility for active lifestyles, positioning it strictly as a fashion accessory rather than a robust tool watch. Users should be mindful of this limitation to preserve the watch's integrity.
Ultimately, the NW/2597FLGY is an excellent choice for women seeking an affordable yet stylish dress watch with a unique design element. It's ideal for those who prioritize aesthetics and reliable quartz functionality over high water resistance or complex horological features. For a more robust option, one might consider a sportier quartz model with higher water resistance.
