Description
The OUPINKE G3186 is an automatic skeleton watch for men who like a busy, mechanical-looking dial. It pairs a blue dial with a tourbillon-style layout, a moon phase window, a date display and four crystal markers.
The watch has a 42 mm stainless steel case with a stainless steel bezel and a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. Inside is a 21-jewel automatic movement that winds itself with wrist motion and can also be wound by hand, so no battery is needed. Water resistance is rated at 50 m.
The tungsten steel bracelet uses a rhombus pattern and closes with a hidden push-button butterfly clasp. The luminous hands help with reading in low light. At 50 m it handles splashes and brief immersion, but it is not meant for bathing, so it suits daily wear and dressier occasions.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I wear the OUPINKE G3186 in the shower or pool?
Not really. The OUPINKE G3186 is rated to 50 m, which covers splashes and brief immersion, but the maker states it is not suitable for bathing. For daily hand washing and rain it is fine, while swimming and showers are best avoided.
Does it need a battery?
No. The 21-jewel automatic movement winds itself from wrist motion and can also be wound by hand. If you leave the watch unworn for a while it may stop, so a few turns of the crown will usually restart it. Service is the main upkeep.
Will a 42 mm case suit my wrist?
A 42 mm case with 20 mm lugs and 12 mm thickness suits most average to larger wrists. The OUPINKE G3186 sits fairly tall, so very slim wrists may find it prominent. Check the fit against a watch you already own.
How does it compare with a standard entry-level automatic?
The OUPINKE G3186 offers a busier skeleton dial with moon phase and date, plus sapphire crystal, versus plainer dials on many brands. The trade-off is lower water resistance and less documented movement, so Seiko or Orient suit those wanting proven reliability.
Can the bracelet be adjusted for my wrist?
The tungsten steel bracelet has a rhombus design and closes with a hidden push-button butterfly clasp. It looks clean, but resizing links usually calls for the right tools, so a local watchmaker is often the easiest route for a precise fit.
Is it suitable as a gift?
Yes, for someone who likes mechanical watches with a showy look. The OUPINKE G3186 has a blue dial, sapphire crystal and a silver-toned bracelet, which suits both office and evening wear, though it is not a sport or swimming watch.
Editor's take
The OUPINKE G3186 is aimed at buyers who want the look of a complicated skeleton piece without a luxury price. The blue dial combines a tourbillon-style layout with a moon phase window and a date display, and the overall effect is busy by design.
The spec sheet lists a 21-jewel automatic movement that self-winds and can also be hand-wound, so no battery is involved. The case is stainless steel at 42 mm, topped by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, which is a sensible choice for scratch resistance at this level.
The main limit is water resistance. At 50 m it handles splashes and short immersion, but the maker itself says it is not suitable for bathing, so swimming and showering are out. The tungsten steel bracelet with its hidden push-button butterfly clasp looks clean but is less simple to adjust than a standard pin-and-buckle strap.
It suits someone who wants a dressy, eye-catching mechanical watch for office and evenings. Buyers who need real water resistance or a documented movement should look at established entry-level automatics from Seiko or Orient instead.

OUPINKE Mens Automatic Watch
The G3186 is powered by a Japanese automatic movement, so it runs from the motion of your wrist and needs no battery. The 42.0mm stainless steel case carries a sapphire crystal, which resists everyday scratches far better than mineral glass.
Model show
At 42.0mm, the case sits as a confident everyday size on most wrists without feeling oversized. The tungsten strap adds noticeable weight, which gives the watch a planted, balanced feel when worn.
Model show
The stainless steel case and tungsten strap share a cool, dense finish that suits both a shirt cuff and casual clothing. Rated to 50m, it handles hand washing and rain, though it is not intended for swimming or diving.
Watch Details
The sapphire crystal keeps the dial clear and resists marks from daily knocks. Inside, the Japanese automatic movement is wound by the motion of the wrist, and the stainless steel case gives it a solid, durable structure.
