Rado Centrix R30029902, 35mm, Brown Dial

The Rado Centrix Automatic Diamonds Open Heart is a women's dress watch built around a brown skeleton dial with an open heart view. It suits those who want a mechanical watch in a compact 35mm size that still feels polished on the wrist.

The watch uses a Swiss automatic movement inside a stainless steel case, with a sapphire crystal protecting the dial. Water resistance is rated at 50 metres, which covers splashes and brief contact with water. The case is 11.1mm thick and the lug width is 20mm.

The stainless steel bracelet closes with a foldover clasp and continues the metal finish of the case. The open heart dial lets the owner see the movement at work, which gives the Centrix a more technical character than a plain three-hand dress model for daily wear.

Rado's Centrix line has long been the brand's route into polished, wearable women's mechanical watches, and this open heart version is a clear example. At 35mm it sits comfortably on smaller and medium wrists, and the brown skeleton dial gives it more warmth than the usual silver or white dress dial.

The key feature is the Swiss automatic movement visible through the open heart aperture, paired with a sapphire crystal that resists scratches. The stainless steel case and matching stainless steel bracelet keep the look consistent, and the foldover clasp gives a secure, low-profile closure.

The main trade-off is water resistance. At 50 m, the Centrix handles rain and handwashing but is not the watch for swimming or regular showers. At 11.1mm thick it is also slimmer than a sports watch but not especially thin, so very fitted cuffs may catch on it.

It suits someone who wants a dressy mechanical watch with a visible movement and a distinctive colour, worn from office to evening. Buyers who need more water resistance should look at sportier automatics, while those who prefer a simpler dial may consider closed-dial dress models in the same segment.
