Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Invicta Angel 48138 suitable for daily wear and activities?
Yes, the Invicta Angel 48138 is designed for daily wear. Its durable stainless steel construction and reliable quartz movement make it a practical accessory for everyday use. However, its 30m water resistance means it's best for splashes, not swimming or showering.
What is the water resistance of this Invicta Angel watch?
The Invicta Angel 48138 has a water resistance rating of 30 metres (3 ATM). This means it can withstand minor splashes or rain, but it is not recommended for swimming, showering, or any water-based activities where it might be submerged.
How does the 20mm case size of the Invicta Angel 48138 fit on a typical wrist?
With its 20mm case diameter, the Invicta Angel 48138 is quite small and designed for women with slender wrists or those who prefer a delicate, understated look. It typically fits wrist sizes ranging from approximately 5.5 to 7 inches comfortably, offering a subtle presence.
What type of movement powers the Invicta Angel 48138?
The Invicta Angel 48138 is powered by an accurate quartz movement. This type of movement relies on a battery and a vibrating quartz crystal to keep precise time, offering reliability and low maintenance compared to mechanical watches.
What are the main differences between the Invicta Angel 48138 and other Invicta women's watches?
The Invicta Angel 48138 stands out with its very compact 20mm case size and minimalist silver dial, making it ideal for a subtle, elegant look. Many other Invicta women's watches might feature larger cases, more elaborate designs, or different complications, catering to a bolder aesthetic.
Editor's take
The Invicta Angel 48138 presents itself as an accessible and stylish option for women seeking a compact and reliable timepiece. Positioned within Invicta's popular Angel collection, this model emphasises delicate aesthetics and everyday wearability, making it a versatile accessory for various casual and semi-formal settings.
At its core, the watch is powered by a precise quartz movement, ensuring accurate timekeeping with minimal maintenance. The 20mm stainless steel case and matching bracelet offer a cohesive and durable design, while the mineral glass provides adequate protection against everyday scratches. Its 30-metre water resistance rating makes it suitable for splashes but not for swimming.
One might note that while the 20mm case size is ideal for smaller wrists and a minimalist aesthetic, it might be considered too small for those who prefer a more prominent wrist presence. The foldover clasp with push button is a practical choice, but some users might prefer a more elaborate deployant for added security or a different aesthetic.
Ultimately, the Invicta Angel 48138 is best suited for women who prioritise a subtle, elegant design and reliable quartz accuracy in a compact form factor. For those seeking a more robust or feature-rich timepiece, exploring other collections within Invicta or similar fashion-oriented brands might offer alternatives with larger case sizes or higher water resistance.
